The Bradley Mortar Vehicle's large interior volume enables the vehicle to carry 78 rounds and a potential of up to 100 rounds of 120mm mortars, which facilitates the crew's ability to provide a longer duration of sustained fires.
Survivability - Enhanced armor protection provides an improved degree of protection against direct and indirect fires and fragmentation. The armor protection on the Bradley Mortar Vehicle is further increased by the Reactive Armor, and Add-on Armor Kits. The external fuel tanks further enhance the survivability of the crew.
Mobility - Increased speed enables the Bradley Mortar Vehicle to keep pace with the maneuver units it supports. The inclusion of FBCB2 enhances situational awareness and aids in navigation.
Maintainability - Increased commonality with other major automotive components of the current Bradley Fighting Vehicle reduces the logistical burden of maintaining a separate set of spare parts and trained mechanics. The integrated Vehicle Health Management Systems also enables the crew to assess the status of the vehicle and easily identify necessary maintenance requirements.
